Our values have been at the heart of our business for nearly 38 years and will guide us as we’re facing uncertain times. The impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a shared challenge. The safety of our staff and you, our customer, is our top priority.
As we value you as our customer, we would like to inform you of the measures taken to ensure your safety in all our stores.
Firstly, our staff have been empowered with relevant information regarding COVID-19 and properly guided on personal hygiene. We have briefed all cashiers and Pharmacists to sanitise in-between customer interactions, demarcated safe distancing in queues and increased the amount of sanitisers available to our staff. All surfaces, counters, trolleys and baskets are disinfected on a regular basis and our stores are cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis.
Should a confirmed case of COVID-19 present itself in our business we have a detailed plan in place that guides our response, based on the advice of the NICD. However, we believe our current safety measures are sufficient to minimise any disruption. Our management team is meeting every 2nd day to review and assess the implementation of these measures and will make any necessary adjustments.
