How do I know which panty size to buy?

We know the concerns of buying online for a body that changes constantly through pregnancy, after giving birth and the months to follow. Simply apply these simple to follow guidelines and you will have a garment that fits perfectly:

- Start with tights or a panty that fits comfortably currently to get a starting point. Check the size on the label.

- Is there room for growth around the bum/thigh areas? The elastic should not pinch or press uncomfortably anywhere. This is the most important factor to consider as all our panties are designed to stretch over pregnant/post birth tum.

- If you are having twins/gain weight easily or lose weight slowly (for after birth), rather take one bigger size

- If you normally buy your undies from Woolworths, bear in mind their design is bigger than ours. So if you wear a medium at Woolies, and still have some time left in your pregnancy, rather take a large when buying from us

The above tips will already guide you in the right direction. Watch this video to practically illustrate how you can find the right fit at home.

Not sure which size nursing bra to buy? Let us help you!

We know that the many changes a mama’s body (and breasts!) go through during pregnancy can cause discomfort, confusion and even feeling overwhelmed. But we have developed a few easy-to-follow guidelines to find the perfect size bra. You’ll be amazed how comfortable & confident you feel when you find something that fits and is pretty!

  1. Put a bra on that fits well at the moment. There should be space at the back to adjust smaller – remember your tum and ribs will shrink post birth, and then a bra becomes too big easily. All our garments have extenders to simply add or remove as you need more or less space at the back. Simply clip it on if you need more room to breathe.
  • If you can’t even close the bra, take a size bigger around the chest
  • If you can’t adjust it smaller at the back, take a chest size smaller
  1. Can you stick your hand into the cup?
  • If you can’t fit it in, take a bigger cup size
  • If you can fit it in & easily pull your hand away from the chest, it is a good fit, and there should be more space for growth or when your milk comes in
  • If the cups are loose / wrinkly, it is too big. Take a smaller cup size

What makes the Vogue Nursing bra so unique?

Any mama needs space for growth during pregnancy, as well as post birth when milk comes in for nursing. This makes it sooo tricky to find the right bra to fit well during these many changes, especially when buying online. Well, this bra is extremely versatile:

  • Each size (e.g. medium) can accommodate four cup sizes, A-D cups. This creates ample room for growth, as well as a proper fit when milk production stabilizes and it is normal to lose weight and become smaller
  • Padded cups. No underwire or boning
  • Drop down cups for quick & easy breast access
  • 100% Cotton with double bonded fabric for ultra comfort and support
  • Available in sizes small (30/32), medium (34), large (36), and XL (38). This might help you to pick a size:

Small comfortably fits a size 30-32. If you have a larger cup size, like D or DD and you still need to grow or get milk, consider taking a medium.

Medium comfortably fits a size 34. If you have a larger cup size, like D or DD and you still need to grow or get milk, consider taking a L.

Large comfortably fits a size 36. If you have a larger cup size, like D or DD and you still need to grow or get milk, consider taking an XL.

XL comfortably fits a size 38. If you are a D or DD, it might be too small. The cups are removable if you need more space though.

How do I know when to buy a nursing bra? How do I know if my body will change even more?

We understand all these questions mama, and since Emsie and Imne, owners of Mama Noo, have seven kids between them, they are a trusted source of info when it comes to these topics! They have a wealth of practical, easy to do tips and tricks. They also know that no two mamas or even two pregnancies are the same, so they try and give advice to suit individuals and not a one-size-fits-all type of thing.

They know that moms get uncomfortable in their bras quite soon after falling pregnant, so in this video (link: https://youtu.be/R7NktjCmrSE) they share valuable info on when to buy, when you can start wearing your bra, etc.
