Cepacol Throat Lozenges Blackcurrant 24 Lozenges gets to work fast to relieve and soothe a sore throat. It also contains a mild antibacterial agent to stop the growth of bacteria and fungi that can cause mouth and throat infections.

Direction and Dosage: Dissolve lozenge slowly in the mouth. Use as needed. How to use Cepacol throat lozenges menthol: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth, as needed. Not recommended for children under three years of age.

Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees C.

Warnings: Contraindications: Not suitable for diabetics. Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Safety in pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Not for use by children under three years of age. Side effects and special precautions: Severe sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever or headache or nausea and vomiting, or any sore throat persisting for more than two days, may be serious. In such cases, consult your doctor. Ingestion of cetylpyridinium chloride may cause nausea and vomiting. It has depolarising muscle relaxant properties and toxic symptoms include dyspnoea and cyanosis due to paralysis of the respiratory muscles, possibly leading to asphyxia. Depression of the central nervous system with convulsions, hypotension and coma may occur. Known symptoms of overdosage and particulars of its treatment: Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. Overdosage of benzyl alcohol can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, vertigo, and CNS depression. Keep out of reach of children.
