The Rossmax Z5 clinically validated upper arm blood pressure monitor with atrial fibrillation (AFib) detection and smartphone connectivity is an new advanced blood pressure monitor from Rossmax. The Z5 is equipped with high-quality technologies, such as ARR/AFib detection, ARR/PC detection, smartphone connectivity, and is powered by a rechargeable battery, eliminating the need to replace batteries. With the ARR/AFib detection, the blood pressure monitor can determine if there is an increased risk of a stroke. If it detects atrial fibrillation, it will display a symbol at the end of the measurement. This technology is also referred to as stroke prevention. The ARR/PC or Premature Contraction Detection is unique. No other brand has this technology. With this detection, the blood pressure monitor determines if there was an “extra” heartbeat during the measurement. Too many “extra” heartbeats can have a negative impact on the heart’s function, which is more common in people over 40 years old.
In addition, the blood pressure monitor is suitable for 2 users. Each user can store up to 60 measurements. There is also a guest mode, which does not save the measurements. From the memory, you can manually calculate the average blood pressure values over the last 3 measurements and the average morning and evening values over the last 7 days. The screen displays the blood pressure, average heart rate, and a WHO indicator that indicates if the blood pressure is normal or elevated. Symbols also indicate if an irregular heartbeat was detected, if the cuff was placed correctly, and if there was any movement during the measurement.
The Rossmax Z5 has Bluetooth connectivity. You can sync the measured blood pressure values with the free Rossmax Healthstyle app. In the app, you can easily analyze and forward the values, for example to your doctor. The blood pressure monitor comes with a flexible cuff that is suitable for upper arms from 24 to 40 cm. A smaller (from 18 cm) or larger (up to 46 cm) cuff size is optional. The Rossmax blood pressure monitors have a unique feature that they can be recalibrated. If the blood pressure monitor gets older or you have doubts about the measurements, it can easily be checked and recalibrated.
