The scent of pine oil, always reminds me of walking in forests and the smell of fresh Christmas trees. The woodsy smell of Pine oil is known for it's cleansing, refreshing and invigorating properties.
Pine oil is commonly used in massage oil blends, household cleaning products and air fresheners. It helps with decreasing swelling and tenderness of sore muscles and joints, associated with inflammation. It also stimulates blood flow.
• Decongestant: By fighting fungi lurking in the air, Pine oil acts as a decongestant and antiviral for seasonal allergy symptoms and helps clear catarrh. Use a couple of drops in a diffuser or just inhale straight from the bottle if you’re on the go.
•Aches and pains: The healing properties help with swelling and irritation of joint and muscle pain. Add to a warm bath or use as blended with a carrier oil to apply topically.
•Uplifting effects: Pine oil offers invigorating effects on both the body and mind. It can help with mental and physical fatigue, improve focus, alertness and memory. Use when you have to be extra focused or alert. Add to a diffuser or mix in a spray bottle with water.
•Natural deodorizer: Pine oil is an excellent natural deodorizer for your home or car, removing stubborn odors. Mix about 20 drops in a bucket of water and wash or scrub on any stains and smelly areas, even carpets. The Pine scent will leave that area smelling fresh and clean.
•Scrub mix: Mold, stains or stuck on residue on pots, appliances or home surfaces? Mix Pine oil with bicarbonate of soda into a thick paste and scrub away.
Remember to always dilute Pine oil with a carrier oil like Sweet Almond, Grapeseed or in a lotion when using it on your body.
