Description
Novalac Rice+ Infant Formula 800g is suitable for infants from birth to 36 months. This rice protein-based formula offers an alternative for babies who cannot tolerate cow’s milk proteins. Thickened for easy preparation, it should be used under medical supervision as part of a varied diet.

Dosage and Directions:
Always wash your hands before preparing a bottle/cup. Each bottle/cup should be prepared individually. Only use the measuring scoop provided. Formula should be consumed within one hour of preparation. Reconstitution (13.5%): 1 levelled and non-packed scoop (4.5g) for each 30ml of water. Use only the measuring scoop provided in the tin. The number of feedings should be adapted to the child's appetite according to advice from your health care professional. 1. Wash the feeding bottle/cup, cap, teat and any utensils to be used and sterilise them in boiling water. Keep covered until needed. 2. Boil clean drinking or mineral water with a low mineral content for 5 minutes and allow to cool to 40 °C. 3. Pour in the required amount of water (see feeding guide) into the bottle/feeding cup. 4. Measure the correct quantity of formula (see feeding guide) into the bottle/cup with the measuring scoop provided. Always use 1 levelled scoop per 30 ml water. Do not add sugar. 5. Place the lid back on the bottle and shake, or stir the cup with a sterilised spoon, until powder is dissolved. 6. Let cool to lukewarm temperature (37 °C). Test the temperature on your wrist before feeding. Any formula left after feeding should be discarded immediately.
Storage instructions:
Store in original container with lid tightly closed at or below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
Warnings:
Completely remove the metal foil at first opening. Do not keep leftovers in the bottle, throw away the remaining infant milk quantities. After opening, use within 3 weeks. The product is not to be administered parentally. The product is not suitable for tube feeding
